- Our view: Is McAuliffe green or not green? (I’m including this only as an example of how far the Roanoke Times editorial board has fallen. In this case, they trot out the ignorant falsehood that a switch to clean energy and economic growth are mutually incompatible, when in fact the exact opposite is the case. They also don’t seem to understand that wind, solar and energy efficiency are alternatives to fossil fuels today. #FAIL)
