It’s very hard – impossible, actually – to disagree with Rep. Donald McEachin (D-VA04), who said earlier today (see video, below) that two years after the white supremacist/neo-Nazi “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, “we’re moving backwards…things are worse now than they were two years ago.” Rep. McEachin also added, correctly, that Trump “has to own this…this president has used the buzz words, the dog whistles…to make sure that folks know that it’s okay to behave in the manner that they’re behaving, and so he’s allowed this dark underbelly…to come forward and and now we see the consequences of his words.” Exactly. Thank you for speaking the truth, Rep. McEachin!
