See below for a new video by Brandon Jarvis, showing how Sen. Amanda Chase (far-right Republican, SD11) is a raging hypocrite, in addition to being an extremist. In this case, the same State Senator who claimed Virginia Capitol Police Are Partisan Liars over a parking incident, then attacked Alec Baldwin over…yep, a parking incident (!), calls for everyone to be nice and to “stop being ugly,” while yesterday on her Facebook page, “she shared a post many would consider ugly, then liked all of the comments on the post saying hateful things about her opponent.”
That post, by the way, falsely called her opponent, Democrat Amanda Pohl, a “socialist” – a charge Chase has repeated frequently in recent days, along with xenophobic attacks about how Pohl also supposedly supports “allowing criminals who commit crimes and are also here illegally being released into the streets of our community.” If that’s not “ugly,” what is? Yet here’s Chase, telling everyone to “use your best manners,” to “agree without being disagreeable,” to “be nice,” and to not “be ugly…we don’t need any more toxicity in America, we’re all Americans…we can agree to disagree, so stop being snarky, be nice!”
Uh, Sen. Chase? That’s all great, but perhaps you might want to start by following your own advice for once, and to show the rest of us how it’s done?
