Klobuchar Campaign Announces Virginia State Director David Aldridge as Campaign Builds Toward Super Tuesday

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Amy For America today announced David Aldridge as Virginia State Director. The campaign has staff on the ground across the Commonwealth and began running television and digital ads in Virginia on Thursday. Earlier this week, Klobuchar was endorsed by Virginia State Senators Creigh Deeds (VA-25) and Janet Howell (VA-32).

“Virginians are looking for a candidate who can beat Donald Trump, a candidate who can get things done and a President who will represent all of America — that’s Amy Klobuchar,” said Aldridge. “Amy’s track record of winning big in Minnesota includes winning in rural, suburban and urban districts, and that is the kind of candidate we need in Virginia. As we approach Super Tuesday, I’m excited to lead our growing Virginia team and take Amy’s message across the Commonwealth of Virginia.”

David Aldridge previously managed the successful re-election campaign of Schuyler VanValkenburg in the 72nd District of the Virginia House of Delegates and brings over a decade’s worth of campaign experience to the team in both electoral and issue based organizing for Democrats. David lives with his wife in the Museum District in Richmond, with his rescue cat Boba.
