See below for the latest stats from the Virginia Department of Health on COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths so far. Note that the number of deaths didn’t change, the number of hospitalizations increased by 7 (from 38 to 45, or +18%), and the number of cases – defined as “positive tests among people tested,” so of course depends heavily on how many people were tested – increased by 35 (from 254 to 290, or +14%), the smallest percentage increase since March 16. So…maybe there’s some progress happening here? Let’s stick with the social distancing and see how it goes.
