Today is Democratic presidential primary election day in Virginia (polls are open from 6 am to 7 pm; vote at your regular polling location). Note that there will be more candidates on the ballot than are actually still in the race, given that ballots were printed weeks ago. So…currently, the active candidates are (in alphabetical order): Joe Biden, Mike Bloomberg, Tulsi Gabbard, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
What’s turnout like in your neck of the woods? Who did you vote for and why? Feel free to add your observations in the comments section.
P.S. As Sen. Warner writes, “If you don’t already have a plan to vote, check out these resources to find your polling place and check on your registration status. Remember, as long as you’re in line by 7 pm tomorrow night, you’ll be allowed to vote.”
