Another week, another set of nasty unemployment insurance weekly claims data from the U.S. Department of Labor. For the U.S., we’re talking about another 3.2 million Americans filing initial unemployment benefit claims last week, bringing the total “tally over seven weeks to more than 33 million.” Horrific. And here in Virginia, add another 61,138 unemployment claims, on top of 72,488 the prior week and 82,729 the week before that. See below for the terrible numbers…
