See below for a press release from the new PAC, Access for Virginia, and from Norfolk City Councilmember Andria McClellan (D), who is announcing that she’s “exploring” a run for Lt. Governor of Virginia in 2021. To date, according to VPAP, there are two Democratic Lt. Governor candidates who have filed – Del. Hala Ayala and Paul Goldman. There are also at least two other Democrats – Del. Elizabeth Guzman and Mike Pudhorodsky – who are known to be either running or “exploring” a run for Lt. Governor. Based on what I’ve heard, there are numerous others considering a run as well on the Democratic side…plus at least a couple (Del. Glenn Davis and former Del. Tim Hugo) thinking about it on the Republican side. Stay tuned…
