VA GOP U.S. Senate Nominee Daniel Gade Apparently Thinks Staunton and Rockingham County Are In “SWVA”

The 2020 Virginia GOP nominee for US Senate, Daniel Gade, who mostly seems to spend his time ranting on social media and in fundraising emails about “Antifa” and about Democrats supposedly burning down our cities, etc., apparently should spend more time studying a map of Virginia. Check out the following, in which Gade apparently thinks Staunton – located northwest of Charlottesville – and Rockingham County – located north of Staunton – are somehow in “SWVA.” As Chaz Nuttycombe points out, “Staunton City and Rockingham County are not Southwest Virginia.” Maybe by the end of this campaign, after Mark Warner crushes him on November 3, Gade will have some spare time to tool around Virginia – hopefully not  violating social distancing and mask requirements, for a change – and figure out where things are located? Heh.
