As Virginia Prepares For COVID-19 Vaccinations, Community Conversations Start Up Today

As Virginia prepares for COVID-19 vaccinations throughout the Commonwealth in phases, the Virginia Department of Health’s Office of Health Equity is hosting virtual vaccine community conversations to provide more information about the vaccine and the vaccination process. While the arrival of several effective vaccines against COVID-19 is good news, it will take many months to get the vaccine to the entire community. We must remain vigilant and continue to take important and effective precautions to limit the spread of COVID-19, including wearing a mask, washing your hands, staying home if you are sick, and social distancing.
