So, at this point (3/29), in Virginia we’re at 616,509 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 26,280 hospitalizations and 10,219 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 1,143 (+0.2%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 1,392 (+0.2%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 37 (+0.1%), which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 33 (+0.1%). Deaths are reported +21 compared to +20 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 6,452,493 (up 10,109 from yesterday).
