Friday (4/30) Virginia Data on COVID-19 Finds +1,249 Confirmed/Probable Cases (to 659,590), +92 Hospitalizations (to 28,443), +19 Deaths (to 10,770)

See below for graphics of the newly posted COVID-19 numbers by the Virginia Department of Health and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association. So, at this point (4/30), in Virginia we’re at 659,590 total reported – confirmed plus probable – cases (note that actual cases, as well as deaths, could be higher, maybe even a LOT higher, based on stories like this one in the NY Times), 28,443 hospitalizations and 10,751 deaths from COVID-19. The number of reported cases went to 1,249 (+0.2%) in the latest statistics, which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when reported cases were up 1,187 (+0.2%). As for hospitalizations, they went up 92 (+0.3%), which is the same rate of increase than the day before, when hospitalizations were up 80 (+0.3%).  Deaths are reported +19 compared to +16 the previous day. The number of PCR-ONLY test results is currently at 7,033,958 (up 19,664 from yesterday).
