Youngkin has repeatedly said he is “honored” to be endorsed by the former president and has said Donald Trump “represents” so much of why he is running for governor. The ad reminds Virginians that Glenn Youngkin has fully embraced the most extreme elements of the Republican Party, including fawning over Trump and lauding his praise despite his failed leadership as president.

Youngkin has repeatedly tied himself closely to Donald Trump – who once called the coronavirus pandemic, which has taken more than 600,000 American lives and triggered an unprecedented health and economic crisis in this country, a “hoax,” and said that he wanted to “terminate health care.” Trump even called white supremacists “very fine people.”
