Even by faaaar-right VA State Sen. Amanda Chase (R) “standards,” this screed is completely unhinged. So basically, Glenn Youngkin shouldn’t even smile, shake hands or act friendly when he meets former Gov. Terry McAuliffe, but should instead treat McAuliffe as “behind the Marxist take over [sic] of our Commonwealth,” and treat the gubernatorial contest as “NOT a business deal,” but as “war.” This, frighteningly, is where the entire Republican Party has been heading since Trump oozed onto the scene in 2016 – towards demonizing Democrats and towards moving U.S. politics in a very, very nasty direction. Is that what Virginians want? We’ll find out on November 2nd, hopefully with a Democratic landslide victory over the attitudes expressed, below, by a top “surrogate” for Glenn Youngkin…
