This coming Tuesday (January 11), there’s an important special election in HD89 (Norfolk), where Jay Jones stepped down from the House of Delegates at the end of 2021, and where Democrats on December 21 nominated Jackie Glass to replace him. And while HD89 is an overwhelming “blue” district (e.g., went for Tim Kaine over Corey Stewart 85%-13%), we obviously still need Democratic voters to turn out. So if you live in HD89, make sure you vote early or on January 11, and if you want to make calls to help GOTV, see below for a link by the Rural GroundGame to do that tomorrow, from 10 am to noon.
Also, to learn more about Jackie Glass (“served in the US Navy for eleven years”, “successfully leading the Norfolk 2045 and Just Dinner campaigns”; etc.), click here, and to learn more about what she believes matters the most (e.g., “Paid family and medical leave, including guaranteed paid sick days”; “Increase the availability of Energy Efficiency and Affordable Housing”; “Expand healthcare access for small businesses and their employees”; “Support Offshore Wind”; etc.), click here. Go Jackie Glass!
JUST 5 DAYS until HD89 holds a Special Election. Let’s make sure we send @jackie4norfolk to Richmond!
Join us this Saturday 10am-noon to hit the phones and #GOTV!!! 🗳️
