See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,351,417, up 17,219 since the Thursday morning report and up a massive 175,258 over the past 10 days. As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 45,827, up 229 from the Thursday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,845 – close to the highest ever in the entire pandemic). And deaths are at 15,803, up 18 from the Thursday morning statistics.
