As for state legislatures, they’re pretty much a mess when Republicans have a “trifecta,” doing all kinds of bad things – restricting the right to vote, persecuting LGBTQ kids, etc. – while when Democrats have a “trifecta,” such as in Virginia 2020-2021, a ton of great stuff gets done.)
