Rep. Don Beyer: “I am proud of [those]…who courageously came forward to speak out about the toxic culture Snyder created. Good riddance.”

Del. Danica Roem: "No matter who’s in charge of the organization, an NFL stadium (let alone a taxpayer funded one) does not belong along I-95 in Prince William County."

See below for some reactions from Virginia leaders regarding the news that Washington Commanders (slimeball) owner Dan Snyder may sell the team. Personally, I agree with Rep. Don Beyer (“I for one will be very happy if this comes to pass…I am proud of my constituents and their colleagues who courageously came forward to speak out about the toxic culture Snyder created. Good riddance.“) and Del. Danica Roem (“No matter who’s in charge of the organization, an NFL stadium (let alone a taxpayer funded one) does not belong along I-95 in Prince William County.”) on this. I’d add that Virginia should NEVER give a penny in taxpayer-funded corporate welfare to the wealthy owners of a lucrative NFL franchise, no matter who owns it.  I’ll add more reactions as I see them…
