In New Video, Vice President Harris Says Vance Will Be Trump’s ‘Rubber Stamp’

In a new video ahead of Senator J.D. Vance’s acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention, Vice President Kamala Harris says Donald Trump’s new running mate will be a “rubber stamp” for Trump and his extreme agenda.

Vice President Harris called out Vance for saying he would not have certified the 2020 election results, supporting a national abortion ban, and voting against protections for IVF in the Senate.

The Vice President also laid out how Trump and Vance would put the extreme Project 2025 plan in place, targeting critical programs like Head Start and Medicare.

“Donald Trump has picked his new running mate: JD Vance.

“Trump looked for someone he knew would be a rubber stamp for his extreme agenda.

“Make no mistake: J.D. Vance will be loyal only to Trump, not to our country.

“And unlike Mike Pence, Vance said he would have carried out Trump’s plan to overturn the 2020 election.

“He supports a national abortion ban and voted against protecting IVF.

“And if elected, he will help implement the extreme Project 2025 plan for a second Trump term, which would target critical programs like Head Start and Medicare.

“But we are not going to let that happen.”
