Virginia GOP Condemns Loudoun GOP Chair for Saying He Doesn’t Care About the White or Christian Vote, That Trump Won’t Visit the Mosques, etc.

This is the same guy who, in 2021, asked, “Do you think the sea level would lower, if we just took all the boats out of the water?”

Crazy stuff – the Virginia GOP is condemning the chair of one of its largest local committees (Loudoun County GOP Chair Scott Pio – for more on him, see [Pio] Asks, “Do you think the sea level would lower, if we just took all the boats out of the water?”, New Loudoun GOP Chair Mocks Women’s History Month, Wonders if There Should be a “MensHistoryMonth” Where “the men wear all white”, After Confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson, Loudoun GOP Chair Claims Historically African American Sorority Delta Sigma Theta Is “taking control of our country at all levels of govt”, etc.) for the following remarks. What a weird, weird party…

Pio: “I have requested that Trump attend the mosques, the Adams Center, and the Hindu temples in Loudoun0 County and for the past 6 months I’ve been denied – they won’t send Trump to the mosques and they won’t send Trump to the the Hindu temples. And so I charge you tonight to bring Trump to the Adams…two hours of Trump’s time and they will vote in mass for him”

Pio – “As a committee have dedicated our future in Loudoun to the immigrant vote. I don’t care about the White vote. I do not care about the Christian vote. All I care about is the migrant/ immigrant community.”
