Sen. Mark Warner nails it:

“While it’s way too early to declare victory, clearly Trump realizes that Americans own vision, what they see with their eyes, no matter how much you lie, can’t overcome the truth that Americans see. Maybe we’ll start to see ICE pull out of Minneapolis. But we still need ICE reforms. What happened in Minneapolis could happen in any American city. Could happen in Richmond. It could happen in Norfolk. It could happen in Roanoke.

This is why we need American citizens, particularly those who supported Donald Trump, to stand up and say, ‘This is not the way our country operates. There has to be rule of law. You can’t kick out state investigators. If somebody gets killed, there has to be an investigation – and a fair and impartial investigation. And for God’s sake, let’s get rid of the masks on these ICE agents.’

We can and must deserve better.”

Exactly. Now, please do NOT vote to fund ICE or DHS until *major*, *structural* changes are made.
