Virginia COVID-19 Cases Up a Massive 160,221(!) the Past 10 Days; Hospitalizations at Highest Level (3,681) Since Pandemic Began

See below for the latest COVID-19 statistics for Virginia, courtesy of the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and the Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA). As you can see, total cases hit 1,278,739, up 57,703 since the Friday morning report and up a massive 160,221 over the past 10 days – the  highest 10-day increase since the pandemic began. As for hospitalizations, according to VDH, we’re now at a cumulative 44,973, up 917 from the Friday morning statistics (also, VHHA now has hospitalizations at 3,681 – the highest ever in the entire pandemic). And deaths are at 15,671, up 20 from the Friday morning statistics.
