These ‘feisty challenges’, ‘leftist activists’, ‘socialists’ and ‘revolutionaries’ would be moderates in most other liberal democracies. We are facing an existential crisis, with near complete control by a plutocracy thst doesn’t care about our health, education, employment and civil rights. We want a government that cares about children, immigrants, those with pre-existing conditions, women, POC and the rule of law. If that is radical, leftist or socialist twhen it’s fine with me and millions more.” I also really like this comment: “I am a moderate democrat, but I welcome the more progressive voices with one caveat.
