Check out the audio, below, in which right-wing Virginia State Sen. Bill Stanley (R) takes on his fellow Republican State Senator, Amanda Chase, on a number of fronts, including her threat to run as an independent for governor in 2021 if Republicans chose to nominate their candidate via a convention, not a primary. Good stuff.
Stanley: “[Chase] would do a lot better in a convention [than a primary]…I think in a primary she’ll have a much harder time… in getting the nomination and that’s why it seems like, I’m gonna run as an independent as a spoiler thing…seems to be, you know, I’m going to make sure if I can’t have it, that the Republican or a conservative can’t win, and the Democrats have four more years in the governor’s mansion… I’m not afraid of convention. I’m not afraid of a primary. It seems like Amanda Chase’s afraid of either one.”
Haha, gotta love these two right-wing Republicans going after each other. Definitely time for some more hot-buttered popcorn, especially after another right-wing Republican State Senator (Bryce Reeves) the other day vowed to, basically, destroy Chase politically. Keep it up guys, Virginia Democrats are enjoying this immensely!
