DNC candidate Ben Tribbett reports that he’s been endorsed by Sen. Adam Ebbin and Del. Patrick Hope, co-chairs of the Virginia Progressive Caucus.
Sen. Ebbin: “I’m endorsing Benjamin Tribbett for one of four seats (two male and two female) on the Democratic National Committee from Virginia. He brings technology expertise, a commitment to the 50-state strategy and a keen sense of the value of pairing national and state voter files with e-mail and demographic data. Ben also has been valuable to getting the Progressive Caucus off the ground. Like me he supports primaries to nominate our candidates.”
Del. Hope: “We need to have a more progressive state party, and not be afraid about encouraging progressives to seek public office across Virginia. That’s why I have been proud to serve as the Treasurer for the legislative Progressive Caucus in Richmond. As your DNC member I will continue to fight for progressive values, a progressive platform at the state and national levels, and support for progressive candidates and organizations. That’s the path to a successful Democratic Party.”
Congratulations to Ben on these two excellent endorsements from two of Virginia’s leading progressive champions. Something tells me there will be more coming soon…
