It was a fascinating event with Bernie Sanders at Liberty University this morning, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. In short, Sanders delivered his message – with heavy emphasis on the immorality of a country in which the top 0.1% control more wealth than tens of millions of their fellow Americans – without apology, but with respect, to a large audience of people who, presumably, don’t share his views on at least some issues (e.g., marriage equality, a woman’s righ to choose).
