I wrote Thursday about faaaar-right Virginia State Senator Dick Black (R-SD13)’s latest trip to Syria to praise its war criminal President and to bash the U.S. while over there. But I didn’t know that he had done a batshit-crazy interview on Beirut-based, Arabic-language Al Mayadeen. According to the Washington Post, which appears to have broken this story, “Black said Britain’s MI6 intelligence service was planning a chemical weapons attack on the Syrian people, which it would then blame on Assad.”
Unfortunately, since the Post doesn’t seem to believe in those new-fangled contraptions known as “internet links” (LOL), I had to go search out the actual video of the interview myself. Fortunately, I have pretty good Googling skills, so I found it in about two minutes. So here you go – enjoy (and note: if you don’t speak Arabic, this one’s gonna be tough to understand, but the bottom line is that Black said “Around four weeks ago, we knew that British intelligence was working toward a chemical attack in order to blame the Syrian government, to hold Syria responsible”)! Oh yeah, as for the title of this post, I’m pretty sure that if far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who was just banned from Twitter, were a state senator, his name would be “Dick Black.” I just hope that voters in Virginia’s 13th State Senate district finally ditch this disgrace to the Commonwealth when they have their next chance to do so, in November 2019. Meanwhile, check out the latest Alex Jones impersonation by Dick Black!
P.S. In all seriousness, I’d really be curious to know who’s paying for Black’s trips to Syria…
