Final Results: Blue Virginia’s Online Polls for House of Delegates, State Senate Democratic Primaries

It’s COB Thursday, so the State Senate and House of Delegates online Blue Virginia polls of Democratic primaries are now closed; see below for the results. Keep in mind, of course, that these things are certainly not scientific, and also that they can depend heavily on things like how hard campaigns pushed their supporters to vote in them. In other words, take the results with a large grain of salt. With that, here are the final results, many of which (e.g., Rosalyn Dance crushing Joe Morrissey) didn’t surprise me, but some of which (e.g., Andres Felipe Jimenez beating Del. Kaye Kory) definitely did. What do you think of these results? Feel free to weigh in.

SD11 (323 votes cast): Amanda Pohl 73.4% – Wayne Powell 26.6%
SD12 (831 votes cast): Veena Lothe 74.4% – Del. Debra Rodman 25.6%
SD13 (373 votes cast): Del. John Bell 71.1% – Jasmine Moawad-Barrientos 16.9% – Lucero Wiley 12.1%
SD16 (417 votes cast): Sen. Rosalyn Dance 84.2% – Joe Morrissey 15.8%
SD17 (266 votes cast): Amy Laufer 74.4% – Ben Hixon 25.6%
SD28 (280 votes cast): Qasim Rashid 53.2% – Laura Sellers 46.8%
SD31 (686 votes cast): Nicole Merlene 53.6% – Sen. Barbara Favola 46.4%
SD33 (441 votes cast): Sen. Jennifer Boysko 82.5% – Sharafat Hussain 17.5%
SD35 (673 votes cast): Yasmine Taeb 59.9% – Sen. Dick Saslaw 37.3% – Karen Torrent 2.8%
