See below for some photos, tweets etc. from today’s VA05 GOP convention at the “Tree of Life Ministries” in Lynchburg. Feel free to use the comments section to discuss. Note that Rep. Denver Riggleman (R) – who was first elected in 2018, and has been endorsed for reelection by none other than Donald Trump – has repeatedly denounced this process as corrupt, etc. Also note that the challenge to Riggleman (by far-right Bob Good of Liberty University) arose, at least in part, due to Riggleman presiding over a same-sex marriage. So that’s where a significant chunk of the VA05 GOP’s collective head is at these days, apparently. We’ll see this evening if that attitude constitutes a majority of those voting today…
