The latest fundraising email from extremist/insurrections/loony-tunes VA State Senator Amanda Chase (R) is one of her most entertaining – in a warped kinda way – in a while. Check it out, as Chase:
- Lashes out at her Republican rival, former State Senator Glen Sturtevant (who’s also gone completely off the right-wing deep end, by the way), as “a woke RINO who drove around the state with Democrat Delegate Jennifer Carroll Foy and Senator Jennifer McClellan promoting the woke Equal Rights Amendment that ushers in gender fluidity and enshrines abortion in our Constitution.” Notice how the worst things for Chase involve being seen with two Black female elected officials (then-Delegate Jennifer Carroll Foy and State Senator Jennifer McClellan)? Of course, Chase is a virulent racist, as you can see here, here, here, etc. Also really bad from Chase’s warped point of view is her belief that the Equal Rights Amendment “ushers in gender fluidity” (WTF?) and “enshrines abortion in our Constitution.” Sadly and very disturbingly, THIS is today’s Republican Party.
- Rips VA Senate Minority Leader Tommy Norment (R), as a “RINO…who has been embroiled in scandal after scandal and also introduced gun control bills and many local tax increases…and even a bill to to grant leniency for child porn... I refused to sit under such leadership and left the Republican Senate Caucus because I refused to sit under failed Republican leadership. And now he’s backing woke Glen Sturtevant who is running as a conservative.” I mean, it’s actually true that Norment is a slimeball. For instance, see Speaking of the “S.W.A.M.P,” VA Senate Minority Leader Norment Selects the Judges Who Then Appoint Him to Lucrative Commissioner of Accounts Gigs and Decide His Reimbursement; Federal investigators reviewed top Va. lawmaker’s relationship with lobbyist; Norment admitted to relationship with lobbyist in leaked letter; Five Reasons Why Virginia Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment Hates News Media (“An affair, conflicts of interest and corporate donations dog him.”); Former students say Virginia Senate Majority Leader taught racially insensitive college course; Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment (R) Edited Yearbook “Filled with Racist Photos and Slurs”; etc. Still, it’s amusing to see Chase tear into Norment, given how awful they both are in their own unique (and typically Republican) ways…
Fun, huh? Well if you enjoyed this one, there’s a lot more to come, as Chase faces Sturtevant and one other Republican rival (Tina Ramirez) in the Republican primary for Virginia State Senate in the 12th district (Chesterfield County, Colonial Heights City; 57% Youngkin/54% Gillespie district). Enjoy? LOL
