Video – DCCC Releases New TV Ad in VA-02: “Trust”

The DCCC released a new TV ad in the race for Virginia’s 2nd Congressional District, “Trust,” highlighting Republican Jen Kiggans’s support for outlawing abortion and the threat she poses to Virginia women’s reproductive freedom.

Despite Jen Kiggans’ desperate attempts to obfuscate her extreme record on abortion from Virginians, the ad holds Jen Kiggans accountable for pledging to be “100% unapologetically pro-life.” The ad also slams Kiggans for applauding the end of Roe v. Wade, a decision that allowed states to outlaw abortion and opened the door for new laws that would put doctors and nurses in jail for providing care to patients – even in cases of rape, incest, or when a woman’s life is at risk.

The ad – the first to run in VA-02 from the DCCC IE – is airing in the Norfolk media market beginning today and is part of the committee’s previously announced investments in key battleground districts.

So let’s talk about the facts.

She said she’s “100% unapologetically pro-life”.

And she applauded the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade which allowed states to outlaw abortion.
