POLITICO: Jen Kiggans Silent on Accused Domestic Abuser Max Miller, Refuses to Return Miller’s Contribution to Her Campaign
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – On Wednesday, POLITICO reported that Jen Kiggans is staying silent and refusing to return thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from accused domestic abuser Rep. Max Miller.
Kiggans is accepting Miller’s campaign cash despite the fact that his ex-wife has said that he put a gun to her head. The accusations against Miller are so alarming that multiple fellow Republicans – including both of Ohio’s Republican U.S. Senators – have called for his resignation.

- According to records filed with the Federal Elections Commission, Miller’s Dependable Conservative Leadership PAC has made contributions to 16 GOP incumbents struggling to hold onto their seats in Congress.
- Of these 16 Republicans who received money from Miller this cycle contacted this week by POLITICO, only the campaign for Rep. Brad Finstad of Minnesota said it had already returned its $5,000 contribution.
- But spokespeople in the congressional offices and campaigns for the other 14 candidates did not return requests for comment, underscoring the uncomfortable situation Republicans find themselves in as they seek to distance themselves from Miller without giving up any cash advantage in the final weeks leading up to the November elections.
