The Family Foundation is out with its 2016-2017 Virginia General Assembly “Report Card,” which makes crystal clear who Virginians should vote for – and who they should NOT vote for – on November 7. First, though, check out the following articles for some background on this far-right group.

OK, time to take a long, hot shower and get back to the point of this post, which is that the Family Foundation’s “report card” gives us a great idea of who NOT to vote for on November 7. See below for the full list, but the ones in “Hillary Clinton districts” really jump out at me: Del. Rich Anderson (100% rating – vote Hala Ayala for instead); Del. Scott Lingamfelter (100% rating – vote for Elizabeth Guzman instead); Del. John O’Bannon (100% rating – vote for instead); Del. David Yancey (94% rating – vote for Shelly Simonds instead); Del. “Sideshow Bob” Marshall (89% – vote for Danica Roem instead); Del. Tag Greason (89% rating – vote for David Reid instead); Del. Manoli Loupassi (88% – vote for Dawn Adams instead); Del. Randy Minchew (82% rating – vote for Wendy Gooditis instead); Del. Jim LeMunyon (80% rating – vote for Karrie Delaney instead); Del. Ron Villanueva (78% rating – vote for Kelly Fowler instead); Del. Jackson Miller (78% – vote for Lee Carter instead); Del. Tim Hugo (72% rating – vote for Donte Tanner instead); Del Rob Bloxom (72% rating – vote for Willie Randall instead).

Of course, beyond the districts won by Hillary Clinton, there are plenty of extreme Republicans who richly deserve to be defeated. Again, just look at the Family Foundation list for folks like Del. Rob Bell (100% rating – vote for Kellen Squire instead), Del. Dave LaRock (100% rating – vote for Tia Walbridge instead) and many others. Finally, don’t forget to vote Democratic for Governor, Lt. Governor and Attorney General, as all of the Republicans running for those offices would certainly rank at or near 100% on the far-right Family Foundation’s “report card.”
