Video: “Rolling Thunder” on Independence Avenue

I headed down to the National Mall today to check out the festivities, as well as the Andrew Wyeth and Degas/Cassatt exhibits at the National Gallery of Art (both excellent and much recommended!). Here’s some video of “Rolling Thunder” along Independence Avenue, SW, as it passed by the Smithsonian Metro stop, Department of Energy, Department of Agriculture, etc. After the bitterly cold winter, it was awesome walking around the Mall this afternoon in the brilliant sunshine and beautiful, comfortable temperatures. It’s days like this that really make you appreciate living in the DC Metro region.
