Planned Parenthood Votes Launches New Digital Ad on Bob Good’s Dangerous Health Care Record
New ad, “Cameron Web for Congress,” makes the case that Dr. Cameron Webb is the health care champion Virginia’s 5th CD Needs
Richmond, VA — Today, Planned Parenthood Votes launched its first five-figure digital video advertisement in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District, blasting Republican candidate Bob Good for his dangerous record on health care.
The new advertisement, “Cameron Web for Congress,” lays out Congressman Good’s history of advocating against access to health care, including abortion and sexual and reproductive care. Good supports repealing the Affordable Care Act, which jeopardizes health care access for more than 3 million Virginians with pre-existing conditions. The ad encourages Virginia’s 5th District voters to support Cameron Webb, a doctor who understands the urgency of expanding access to care and who will protect our sexual and reproductive rights in Congress.

“Dr. Cameron Webb is the only candidate in this race who will fight to expand access to care and protect reproductive rights. Congressman Bob Good’s out-of-touch record advocating against access to safe, legal abortions, and in favor of repealing the ACA, show that Virginian’s can’t rely on him to protect their access to care in Washington. Voting for Good is too big a risk to our health and rights. At a time when some politicians are ignoring the warnings of our health care professionals, Virginians in the fifth congressional district have the opportunity to elect a doctor in Cameron Webb who can meet this moment.”
This new ad is a part of Planned Parenthood Votes “We Decide 2020” electoral program. “We Decide 2020” is Planned Parenthood advocacy and political organizations’ largest electoral program ever – with a historic investment of at least $45 million in key battleground states during the 2020 cycle.
