So…with the announcement a few mintues ago (see below) by Fairfax County Supervisor Pat Herrity, that he’s dropping out of the VA GOP’s 2025 Lt. Governor primary for health reasons (best wishes for a full recovery!), the Republicans’ ticket is now set, with Winsome Earle-Sears for governor, John Reid for Lt. Governor and Jason Miyares for reelection as Attorney General. Needless to say, this is a far-right/extreme ticket, possibly even more extreme than the infamous 2013 “Extreme Team” ticket of Ken Cuccinelli, EW Jackson and Mark Obenshain (which, thank goodness, lost!).
Just how extreme is this ticket? Here are a few links to give you some ideas. So let’s all just make damn sure that Democrats win BIG this November, because the thought of these three running Virginia (into the ground) is not a pleasant prospect…
