Will this new poll by Data for Progress be the final 2020 Virginia presidential/U.S. Senate poll? If so, it’s a solid one, very similar to the recent VCU Wilder School poll (Biden +12, Warner +17), the recent Wason Center poll (Biden +12, Warner +20), and the mid-October Roanoke College pollĀ (Biden +15, Warner +17). This poll’s results find the following:
- Biden +11 points (54%-43%), Warner +15 points (57%-42%), which is very much in line with – although three points lower for the Warner margin – the FiveThirtyEight.com average for Virginia (+11.2 points for Biden, +18.2 points for Warner).
- Of course, the bigger the margins are for Biden and Warner, the more it should help the “downballot” Democrats – Rep. Elaine Luria in VA02, Dr. Cameron Webb in VA05, Rep. Abigail Spanberger in VA07 – so let’s hope, and work, for the highest margins possible for Biden and Warner!
