Courtesy of VPAP, here are profiles of the Virginia Redistricting Commission finalists. Of these 62 finalists, a panel of retired judges will select eight to serve with eight legislators on the commission. As I posted yesterday, Just 29% of GOP-Selected Finalists for VA Redistricting Commission Are Women and Just 4% Black, 83% Earn >$100k; Dem Finalists Are 56% Women and 41% Black, 56% Earn >$100k. So keep that in mind as you look at the profiles…the Democratic-selected finalists are FAR more diverse and look MUCH more like Virginia than the mostly wealthy, white, male GOP finalists.
